Support & FAQ – ISpeed NetCheck

Understanding Speed Tests

What is Mbps?

Mbps stands for Megabits per second and measures the speed of your internet connection.

Why does speed fluctuate?

Speeds vary depending on time of day, Wi-Fi signal, background apps, and congestion.

Download vs Upload?

Download means data coming in, like watching videos. Upload means data going out, like uploading files.

What is ping and latency?

Ping is the delay between your device and a test server. Lower values mean better responsiveness.

How to ensure accurate results?

Use a wired connection, close background apps, and pause streaming during the test.

Troubleshooting

Why isn't the test starting?

Ensure JavaScript is enabled, browser is updated, and there are no firewall blocks.

Why does it show 0 Mbps?

This often happens due to a network drop, device block, or browser incompatibility.

Why is ping high?

Possible causes: server distance, background downloads, or heavy Wi-Fi usage.

Server not responding?

Retry in 30 seconds or choose another server. Ensure your firewall isn’t blocking the connection.

Different results on devices?

Yes. Hardware, browser, or Wi-Fi differences can impact speed measurements.
